This game is designed to help students practice making investment decisions to prevent IT risks on a platform.
Students will allocate resources based on the platform’s maturity level. Afterward, specific risks will be revealed, and students will earn points depending on how effectively their investments address those risks.
Overall, this activity is intended to help students better understand the relationship between platform maturity and IT risk management.
During my class, students worked on a group project where they built applications designed to improve the lives of New Yorkers🗽🚕.
They came up with so many creative ideas, including a Manhattan parking management app, an app for runners, and a lunch-ordering app for busy professionals in New York. Using Google AI Studio, students practiced vibe coding and turned their ideas into working app prototypes.
This material is designed for beginners learning databases and SQL coding using SQL Server in Visual Studio.
It helps students understand why data is stored across separate tables, how different tables are connected, and how to retrieve the information they need using SQL.
